Physiotherapy: 20% of patients with groin injury will get better with physiotherapy alone. However, this could take over 12 months to work. It can be a useful option for those who definitely don't want to have surgery and have plenty of time to work on their treatment.

Surgery: 90% of those operated upon will get back to their pre-injury level of activity. (See Surgical techniques and Success Rates of Surgery).

Rehabilitation: Rehabilitation with a Specialist groin Physiotherapist will be needed for all patients after surgery. (See Post-operative rehabilitation).
